Nationwide fiber optic network control
The project involves the fiber optic network of a large telecommunication company and internet provider. The network is growing nationwide and is comprised by 56 nodes of fiber optic retransmission control. These nodes are supported by electro mechanical equipment and infrastructure such as:
- UPS
- Gen Sets
- DC Power Supply
- Electrical circuit breakers
- Air conditioning closed control units
- Water-detection
- Fire Detection
- Firefighting
- Security systems
The application consists of Module I/ O for control signals collection and Excel Web CPU Honeywell Nodes monitoring is achieved through Honeywell SymmetRE station, which is established in the company's control center. CPU communicate with each other and with the station via VPN network and BACNET protocol over TCP / IP.
